Morrocoy National Park is a spectacular coastal sanctuary located in Falcón State, northwestern Venezuela, extending impressively between the towns of Tucacas and Chichiriviche. Interesting facts

• Its geography is made up of an impressive number of islets, mangroves, and crystal-clear water beaches that are its main attraction, highlighting idyllic spots such as Cayo Sombrero, Cayo Sal, Cayo Muerto, and Cayo Paiclás.
• Transportation to the cays is done aboard speedboats or traditional "peñeros" from the park's docks, Tucacas, or Chichiriviche. Both towns also offer a wide selection of hotels and inns for tourists.
