Overview

Admire the world's highest waterfall

Angel Falls, or Kerepacupay in the Pemón dialect, is one of the wonders of Venezuelan nature. It is the highest waterfall in the world, with a height of 979 m, originating in the Auyantepuy, one of hundreds of tepuis, the elevated plateaus with flat tops and vertical walls that rise up to 2000 meters high and characterize this privileged area of the Amazon rainforest. It is located in Canaima National Park and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Activities

The excursion is subject to weather and river conditions. The difficulty level is medium-high with a duration of 14 hours.
At 4:00 a.m., you will be awakened for an early breakfast.
Visit to Angel Falls Base Camp: enjoy a 4-hour boat ride to get there.
Visit to the viewpoint and Angel Falls Pool: This is an optional hike, which takes approximately 1 hour. The path is steep and quite slippery. Those who do not want to climb can stay at the base camp.
During the excursion, breakfast will be served on Isla Orquídea and lunch at the base camp.
