Morrocoy National Park is a spectacular coastal sanctuary located in Falcón State, northwestern Venezuela, stretching beautifully between the towns of Tucacas and Chichiriviche. Decreed a National Park in 1974 with the firm purpose of protecting and conserving its rich terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, this destination is a true labyrinth of marine biodiversity.   • Its geography features an impressive array of small islands, mangroves, and pristine beaches that serve as its main attraction, highlighting idyllic spots like Cayo Sombrero, Cayo Sal, Cayo Muerto, and Cayo Paiclas.
  • Transfer to the cays is done by taking small boats from the park's piers, Tucacas, or Chichiriviche. Both towns also provide a wide variety of hotels and inns to accommodate visitors.
