Canaima is an incomparable destination located in the southeast of Bolívar state, in the region of Guayana, Venezuela. Blessed with wonderful landscapes and natural monuments, covered with an area of at least 30,000 km² a wide variety of massifs, mountains, and tepui-shaped hills.

🌴This territory was declared a National Park in 1962 to protect its biodiversity as an ecosystem. It is divided into two sectors: the Western Sector, popularly known as Canaima, and the Eastern Sector, known as Gran Sabana.
🌴It’s one of the most attractive tourist sites in the world, due to the diversity of its flora and fauna and because it is home to the ancestral Pemón indigenous community.
🌴Canaima has two of the highest waterfalls in the world: The Angel Falls, with a height of 979 meters, named in honor of the American aviator Jimmie Angel, who discovered this waterfall in 1933 while flying over the area in his small plane. There’s also Kukenán Falls, with a height of 674 meters, as well as other waterfalls of lesser height.
